Community Pathway provides access to the Not A Footnote Academy public knowledge commons at no cost. This level allows individual learners to explore canonical essays, subject biographies, era overviews, bibliographies, and archival materials without charge.
Community Learners also receive Monthly Open Access Windows: full curriculum access on Day 1 of each calendar month, and a rotating era window on Days 1–5. Community Pathway is intended to ensure that historical knowledge remains permanently accessible regardless of income.
Founding Pathways are a time-limited launch offering for those who join during the formative phase of Not A Footnote Academy. These pathways provide full learner access at a rate fixed for the first consecutive 24 months of enrollment.
Founding rates are not a discount or promotion. They are a time-certain commitment with an explicit end date, after which pricing converts to the then-current standard rate. Founding Family Pathway and Founding Learner Pathway draw from a shared pool of 2,000 slots.
Individual Pathway provides full access to the Not A Footnote Academy learning platform for a single learner. Learners receive access to the full curriculum library, including structured lessons, primary analysis essays, advanced synthesis essays, assessments, and mastery progression tools.
Instructor management tools and classroom administration features are not included in this level.
Family Pathway provides curriculum access for a household learning environment. This pathway includes one parent account and up to four student accounts. Family Pathway allows parents to assign lessons and monitor student learning progress within the household.
Full classroom administration tools used by educators and institutions are not included.
Microschool Pathway provides a classroom-style learning environment for homeschool educators, co-op leaders, and microschool instructors. This pathway includes one educator account and up to ten student accounts, with access to the NFA educator tools suite.
This level is designed specifically for homeschool instructors, independent educators, and small learning groups of up to ten students.
Institutional Founder Pathway is a time-limited launch offering for schools, learning organizations, and educational programs. This pathway includes one administrative educator account and up to twenty-five student accounts, with the full NFA educator tools suite and expanded classroom management and reporting capabilities.
The rate is fixed for the first consecutive 24 months of enrollment. This tier closes permanently at 100 institutions.
Not A Footnote Academy may be suitable for homeschool families using approved education funding programs such as Arizona's Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA), subject to vendor approval and program requirements. Microschool and Institutional Founder pathways are structured to support curriculum delivery, student progress tracking, and educational oversight in a manner consistent with formal learning environments.
For Arizona families and charter-related purchasing environments, the Microschool Pathway is the primary candidate pathway. Institutional Founder access may also be appropriate for organized educational programs, microschools, or cooperative learning structures.
